Excello Law, the leading distributed model law firm, is strengthening its US presence with the addition of Gitta Altmann, an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer admitted as an Attorney at Law in New York. Her arrival follows the recent appointment of Mitchell Breit as Managing Partner to lead the firm’s New York launch.
Gitta has almost three decades of experience acting for UK and international clients. She advises on M&A and cross-border transactions, joint ventures and shareholder agreements, commercial agreements, corporate restructuring and corporate governance, and also specializes in non-contentious employment law. As a practising solicitor and a member of the New York Bar, she is well placed to advise businesses working across both jurisdictions.
Fully bilingual in English and German, Gitta also has strong links with the German, Austrian and Swiss business communities and is a member of the International Lawyers Group (ILG), an international network of lawyers. Her experience adds to Excello Law’s growing Anglo-German capability and offers a joined-up route for US businesses expanding into Europe, and for DACH-region businesses entering the US market.
Commenting on her appointment, Gitta Altmann said:
“I am delighted to be bringing my New York admission and my cross-border experience to Excello Law’s US offering. Clients want practical, cost-effective advice that works across borders, and the firm’s structure lets me deliver that with real autonomy and strong support. I am looking forward to working with Mitchell and the team as we build our presence in New York.”
Gitta’s addition follows the opening of Excello Law’s California office and the launch of its New York presence, extending the firm’s US footprint as it continues to develop its international network.
